We always used Pampers with DD1 and have started those with DD2 as well. But, I just heard first hand from a 3rd person yesterday about having to take their child to the ER for chemical burns from the "new" Pampers Cruisers. DD1 isn't in diapers anymore so I just bought small package of Swaddlers for DD2 yesterday but she really needs to move up to a bigger diaper....just wasn't sure what to buy since I'm not going to put her in Cruisers.
What diapers are you using?
Re: What diapers are you using?
This, we are using Luvs on DD. We have been really happy with them so far
LO uses Huggies. I am still nervous to use the Pampers because of the problems the diapers were having.
I like Pampers as well, and I used Swaddlers for a bit, but I didn't want to risk it with the Dry Max, so I switched over to Pampers Baby Dry. They don't have the dry max but they work really well.
We've been using Huggies Little Snugglers, but I'm seriously considering changing. In the last case we bought, about 2 dozen of the diapers were missing the closure tabs on one side. We contacted Huggies and they are supposed to be sending us coupons and a prepaid package to send a couple of the defectives back to them. So far we haven't received anything 2 weeks after contacting them.
I may try the Target brand. Pampers are too expensive, and I've never had much luck with Luvs or Parents Choice.
I think I read in Mothering Magazine that Luvs and Pampers are made by the same company. As long as your LOs do well in them, that's all that matters, but just wanted to point that out in case that matters to you.
We are using cloth at home (BumGenius 4.0s) and Seventh Generation at daycare. They don't have any of the funky chemicals that regular diapers have. I have been buying them on Amazon in bulk and they are actually 1 cent cheaper per diaper than Pampers Senstive Swaddlers. Not much, but it's something.
BioBaby -
I know, probably useless because it's a mexican brand. But I love that this are biodegradable diapers (3-5 years) and most of their components are natural and have a great absorbency as well..

Just so you know, unless you got an older package of swaddlers they have the same dry max that the cruisers have!
We use pampers or huggies pure and natural (depending on what coupons I have)
my blog
It depends on what I have a coupon for. Sometimes it's Swaddlers -- we've never had an issue with drymax -- and sometimes it's Baby Dry.
My toddler is in Baby Dry.

This. Or the sensitive w/out dry max. Although I did use dry max before I knew about the possible chemical burns & we were fine. But for me, better safe than sorry.
