Chicago Marathon: did you guys hear...

in Pregnant after a Loss

that there was an 8-month pregnant woman competing?? She said that she probably walked more of it than anything else, but she finished it. A nurse even ran passed her and joked that she could help if the baby came early (she's due Nov. 6).

Makes me feel like such a wuss....

    Wow! I feel like that a lot too, esp. since I'm a runner. I try to remind myself that with everything I've been through, I don't need any unnecessary risks, though. Sometimes it helps, most of the time I still feel like a slug :)

    Wow! Good for her. My aunt tried to convince me to run in a race with her where I would run a total of 20 miles (not all together - it's a relay-type thing), and I told her no way. She said, I ran in a marathon in Beijing when I was 6 months pregnant with your cousin. I said, good for you!
