Pregnant after a Loss

BeBand - I officially am too stupid to figure this out

(Yes, I have officially Taco Belled myself into enough bloat at 5 weeks, 2 days that my pants don't fit.)

Okay...do I wear it folded over? Because otherwise it covers me from boobs to hoo ha.

But folded over seems kind of tight.

Why is this defeating me?!

Re: BeBand - I officially am too stupid to figure this out

  • I didn't fold it, but I'm sort of tall so that might be the explanation.  Maybe try scrunching it up a litte at the hips.  I noticed that it tended to scrunch up as I wore it anyway, both at the top and bottom.

Yay for bloat at 5 weeks!  Haha.  I remember I actually was really proud of my bloat, even if it wasn't the most attractive!

  • I personally have not folded it over. Mostly because I feel like, if I'm wearing the button/zipper open on pants, not having it folded over gives me more, um, protection, and the band doesn't ride up or down. Of course, now I'm going to have to try folding it down and see how it works after I finish sending this...

  • Folding is the only way to go, IMO.  Put it on inside out under your pants, then fold the top half over the top of your pants.

  • I did fold mine when I wore it last time. I put it on inside out, pulled my pants up over the band, zipped as much as possible and then folded the band over the jeans to hold them in place. It worked fairly well:)

  • Bahhaahha, "Taco Belled." Love it.

I have only worn it a couple of times, and with the pants I was wearing, it was really tricky.  I ended up tucking the bottom part into my pants, then folding my pants inward, like a V, then folding the top half down over all the bulges.  It annoyed the sh!t out of me all day and I constantly had to readjust.  I hope you find a better way.  Some of my pants still fit zipped up,  but that one pair, I couldn't button OR zip.  I guess it's just time to get rid of them.....

  • I'm tall too, so I didn't have that problem, but, if your shirts are still long enough, put it on inside out, so that the bottom of it is covering the top of your pants. Then fold the top down, I always wore it down so that it covered at least half of my back pockets. Otherwise, the sucker just rode up when I sat down. But, when I got big, yeah, I wore it from butt to just under my boobs!

yeah....what she said!!!  I'm short so if I didn't fold it over I could have worn it as a strapless, tube, mini dress.

  • THis is what I did:

Put on beband before putting on pants, put my pants on then fold over the band over the pants.

I hated the beband though and, if I could do it over again, I'd just buy the elastic waist banded pants. NOT full panel.

  • I wore mine folded over, but you don't have to.  I liked the added tightness - it made me feel more secure that my pants wouldn't fall down.

this, except last time I tried it I thought it felt a little tight too.  If I just put it on over my pants, it rolls down and it super annoying.

  • I did the folding over thing, but I didn't wear my beband for long.  It annoyed me.  Now I wear it under my belly brace.
  • Not wanting to hijack, but a related question--does anyone know if the BeBand is the same type of thing as the Bella band (i.e., just different brands), or are they distinct products with distinct functions?

I have a Bella band from my pg with DD from 3 years ago--I didn't end up using it much though.  Just trying to figure out if I might like the BeBand better for some reason if it is in any way different.  Can't tell from a quick Google search.
