Diaper question.... 2nd time moms

So I got the costco coupon book and they have a huggies coupon in it.  It is good for two boxes --- I was wondering -- I know babies go through size one very quickly if at all, but how long do they generally use a size 2?  I was wondering if I should get a box of 2 and a box of 3 or two boxes of 2?

    I don't remember how long we used sizes for, but we went through 2 of the very large boxes before we switched to 3s. That's was the same for use with the 3s too. Then ds stayed in 4s for about 8 months before moving to 5s. The weight ranges on the boxes were never true for us, we would move up sizes before ds got to the weight ranges because he was a heavy wetter.

    Huggies size 1 goes to 14lbs... and with newborns using 10+ diapers a day, I would imagine that you'd go through at least one box of size 1... (I think its the NB size that many babies barely use, or don't use at all - those go to 8lbs I believe in Huggies, and I've never seen NB size at Costco).  I'd probably get one box of 1 and one box of 2.  And... now I need to see if my dad got a Costco coupon book recently!

    DD was in size 2 diapers for about 3 months.  Then when she switched to size 3 she didn't grow much, so she wore them for about 8 or 9 months.  HTH!

    Mine was in size 2 for no more then 3-4 weeks. Then it was time to change as they started leaking at night, usually first sign that kid needs size biger.

    I would definitely recommend size 3 and 2. Not Two boxes of size 2. If your baby will be longer in size 2 you can always get some more. Plus Costco has diaper coupons every other or third coupon book.

    My daughter was in size 2 for 3 or 4 months, then 3's for about 7-8 months.

    I can't remember, but we used away more than 2 bozes of 2's.  She was in NB for about 6 weeks, then in size 1 for about 6 months.  Size 2 was defintely a shorter time and then she wore size 3 forever - we only switched to 4's shortly before her second birthday and we will be PT soon.
