Terrified to Test.....

I tested out my trigger this morning, the HPT was very very faint, I'll keep at it over the weekend but I'm thinking it's basically out of my system.

But now.....I'm terrified to test for real.  I want to wait to test until the morning of my Beta (14DPO), my DH wants me to start testing at 10 DPO.

I gave him the excuse that I won't start testing that early because we are going camping that weekend and I dont wanna ruin camping with a disgusting BFN.

Ugh. I just want to continue being oblivious for as long as possible.

    Thanks GYM!!  I have a good feeling too but that's why I'm scared!  I hope I can make it to 14DPO :)

    I'm terrified as well!  I'm 10dpiui and I'm "trying" to just wait for my beta on Tuesday.  First thing this morning he started saying that he wants me to POAS.  We have a lot of plans this weekend and I really don't want to be disappointed by a BFN!  Good luck with whatever you decide to do!!

    Good luck with whatever you decide!  I personally have tested before my beta each time, and plan to this go around as well.  I hate this part of the cycle...

    I hope you get that BFP soon!  And have fun camping!

    DX: High FSH/DOR
    It took 44 cycles, just over 3 years, 6 failed IUI's in MI, and 1 round of IVF at CCRM to get our BFP!
    Beta #1 (9dp5dt) = 206, Beta #2 (11dp5dt) = 438
    1st u/s @ 6w5d = 11/11/11 = ONE little bean! HB 120bpm!

    I no longer test any earlier than 14DPO but have to next Friday at 13DPIUI becasue we are meeting that day with the RE to discuss IVF possibilities.

    Definitely wait until after camping so you can have fun and enjoy yourselves:) 

    I am soooooo puuling for you Ashley and have a really good feeling for you too!

    after 2+ years, 3 failed IUIs, 2 failed IVFs with a c/p
    IVF#3 brought us our miracle baby girl on June 26, 2012

    As PPs have said, I would wait until after the camping trip to test.  But, whatever you decide, best of luck to you!

    ~SAIF/PAIF/Everyone Welcome~ 

    Me= 37 and DH = 41 

    Dx: DOR, Endo, APA+ (really high beta 2 glycoprotein antibody and high everything else tested), heterozygous MTHFR mutation, positive for lupus anticoagulant, high FSH, low AMH and both tubes blocked (per HSG on 3/8/11)

    IVF #1 - long lupron (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 4 retrieved, 3 fertilized; ET 2 blasts and 1 frozen = BFN

    IVF #2 - a version of antagonist with EPP (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 6 retrieved, 4 mature, 3 fertilized, 2 blasts and 1 frozen blast transferred on day 5 = BFN.

    IVF #3 April was postponed to May, May was canceled. June/July was canceled. Had a cyst aspiration and then began IVF #3 in August. ER on 8/22; ET on 8/24 with AH. +HPT on 9/5. Beta #1 (11dpo) = 3; Beta #2 (15dpo) = 29; Beta #3 (17dpo) = 60; Beta #4 (19 dpo) = 118. Heartbeat at 6 weeks 6 days =132.  Lil is here!

    TTC#2:  Trigger + TI = BFN; Clomid + Trigger + IUI = BFN.

    IVF #4:  BCP + MDLF + Lovenox = 7R, 1F = Transferred 1 6-cell embryo on day 3 = BFN

    IVF #5:  MDLF + Lovenox = 4R, 1F = Transferred 1 10-cell compacting embryo on day 3 = BFN

    IVF #6:  (New RE):  Long Antagonist November 2014 (transferred two 8 cell grade 1 embryos and froze one blast) = BFN

    FET#1:  BFN

    Bah ha ha ha!!!  MH is the opposite - he wants me to start at 10pdo - and wont let me use IC's...  PIA...

    To test or not to test! It gets me every time.  I would enjoy your weekend camping without worrying about it and deal with it when you get back.  Fingers crossed this is your cycle! :)

    I was the opposite -- I always tested from 10/11/12 dpo on so I could kinda put myself out of my misery, kwim?! So many kudos to you for wanting to hold out ... but I've got lots of hope for you his cycle! It took so long for you to get here, & now everything is in order so I've got good feelings for you!

    I miss you, too! I'm constantly lurking here ... I don't really post anywhere since this was my 'home'. The tris are absurd, the month boards are almost that way (though nearly not as bad), and PAIF is perfect except I stayed away a lot because I was nervous/anxious & needed to stay away.

    Anyway ... my +. Well, I had a booster (another trigger) at 5 dpo, so I tested that out. I think at 12dpo the line was super duper light on a $Tree test. At 13dpo I ran out of the $tree and used an FRER, which was a lot darker -- so I didn't know if it was truly getting darker & positive or if it was from a new brand. I begged my nurse to let me come in for the beta on 14dpo instead of waiting around until 14 days after the booster.

    Sorry, that was a long explanation, but that trigger booster effed up testing, lol! :)

    Honestly I would wait.  I also tested out my trigger a few days ago and when I tested today 11dpiui I got a BFN.  Even though I know it could still be too early, I was crushed and had a hard time getting through the day.  At least do it until after the camping trip so that you can enjoy that.  GL and keep us posted.  T and P's headed your way.
