Hi ladies, I am visiting from TTGP and I wondered how many of you got your BFP when you weren't charting? How did you know AF was late when you tested? I am curious b/c I am not charting but AF is 3 days late. I know that I must of ovulated later than normal, so I am patiently waiting for either AF or a BFP, but just wondered all the same. Thanks if you feel like answering! Good luck to all of you!
Patiently waiting for our 1st since 9/2010.
Dealing with MFI, good count, good motility, 3% morph-HSG all clear, all other test results came back normal, IUI is our next step
May 2012- Clomid 50mg + IUI = BFN

Re: How many of you weren't charting when you got your BFP?
I didn't chart, but I was using a CBEFM so I knew when I ovulated. I also tested before AF was due (10dpo) and got a positive HPT, so I'm probably not much help. But good luck!!!
i didnt chart- i used the cheapie OPK's and got pg the first month using them.
I tested about 3 days before AF was due.
Good luck!
I wasn't charting. I knew AF was late because I am a pretty consistent 28 days. Out of the last 8 months I only had one cycle that was not 28 days. AF was three days late from my 28 days that I calculated so I tested and it was positive.
I had charted for a few months before, but had stopped because my cycle is a very regular 27 days. I used The Bump's ovulation calculator to note the days when I would be most likely to conceive, marked them on the calendar and told my husband. I got the BFP one day after I should have started.
The at home tests are pretty accurate once you are late, if I were you I'd give it a shot.
I didn't chart, but my cycles were generally between 26 and 28 days. I tested on day 24 with an line EPT and day 25 with a digital. They were both positve. Since I tested so early and since I still had a digital left over I tested again about two weeks later, which was positive as well.

I looked into charting and decided it was too stressful to figure out
DH and I felt it best to live our lives normally, without the stress of "OMG I want a BFP!!" I also gave God the glory of it, praying that I was willing to do His will (whether that be as a mom or not) and that I'd be happy either way. I was leaving it up to Him.
My cycles are always spot on, the same day every month, but getting off BCP did mess with it a little. When I felt I was late, and having symptoms (extreme irritability, fatigue, pimples, craving chocolate milk? which I hadn't had in forever), I took a $1 test from Dollar General and got a faint line. Took another one two days later and it was official! We got our BFP within two months!
Good luck to you!
I sorta kinda was just starting to mess around with charting and fertility friend about two weeks before my BFP. I didn't know when I O'd.
BUT my cycles were pretty regular for the previous 4 months and I sort of knew about when I had probably ovulated, and after DH and I BD'd a couple times one weekend, I realized it was right around when I probably O'd.
I didn't think I was pregnant. DH had a strong feeling that I was and was persistent about it. I tested on the day I was supposed to get AF, only because we were going to a rehearsal dinner and I planned to drink. It was a "just in case" thing, and good thing I did!
I didn't chart or use OPKs.
I knew AF was late because I've always had a very regular 28-29 day cycle. While I never charted, I did always keep track of when AF started each month. I waited a week past its expected arrival date to test.
I didn't chart with any of my pregnancies. My cycles are very consistent at 28 days, so I waited until I was a few days late and then tested.
GL to you!

We didn't, just figured out my ovulation days and went for it!
I wasn't chartin, but my period is very regular. I tested very early. I just felt like I was pregnant.
Sorry I'm lurking from 0-3... 1st tri is fun to hang out on for all the crazy posts.
But I didn't chart either. We honestly humped every day for a month just to be sure something would stick... and it did.
