So those of us who gave birth vaginally: is it the norm to get these little air pocket feelings when walking around? I'm hoping this weird feeling will go away once the muscles tighten up more....
Thoughts? Experience? Or maybe I'm just a special case with air bubbles... Eew
Re: Air bubbles Down There
No your not a special case. I too experience this. Especially embarrassing when it seems kind of loud. I don't think that anyone has heard but maybe they are just being nice. I think it stops. I can't really remember having it happen lately.
I had a c/s and since they cut me open, when they closed me back up there was giant air bubbles in my belly. Apparently it's common. But I had these giant air pockets up near my ribs that hurt SO bad for like, 4 days after my c/s. When they finally moved down and out, it was amazing.
One of the nurses said, "look, when you have to fart, do it. This is no time to be a lady. You'll feel so much better."
And DH gave me a pass if I had to fart in front of him.

It's just air that gets up in there. Have you ever had a ***? It's the same thing just on a bigger scale because instead of the usual penis pushing the air up there, it was a giant baby letting air in, so the hole was a little bigger.
It's gross, but it happens.
Or in the case of my c/s, since my insides were all exposed to the air, there was bound to be some trapped air once they closed me up since there's no real way to vacuum out the air before sewing ya back up.
