Slightly deformed uterus

My RE mentioned to me that looking at my HSG it looks as if I have a slightly deformed uterus that is tilted back. He is not too concerned with it and said he could see more if he does the laproscopy surgery if my 1st round of injections are a bust (fingers crossed I get a BFP and don't need the lap). I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this

    Mine is tilted, but it looked normal on the HSG. Well, except for the septum that was sort of in the upper middle part. Did it look like a dip?

    I had a similar experience.  My uterus was tilted back at almost a right angle.  Apparently I was missing a ligament on one side.  I had the issue repaired with a lapro, but from what I understand a mild tilt is pretty common.
    TTC #1 since 8/09

    I don't really remember if there was a dip or not. I was not really sure what a normal uterus looked liked compared to mine

    Is he saying it's deformed because it's tilted or that it's deformed and tilted?  I have a tilted uterus - pretty severe tilt too - and my doctor said it's not a problem at all.  It's a very common thing - about 1/3 of women have it.

    My RE said I have a slight heart shaped uterus... He was not concerned about it at all.
