This reminds me that I need to buy a new bra. I asked DH to tighten the strap on my favorite one the other day and he became all befuddled and snapped the plastic bit.

Several of mine have lived a long and happy life and now need to go to bra heaven. I'm such a dork. I don't want to buy another bra cause I keep thinking, "But I'll be preg soon! I'll need a bigger bra... I'll splurge after LOs."

I am so glad you posted this! I was whining to my friends and family that I needed to go bra shopping because since I got bigger during pregnancy I only had 4 that fit. They all looked at me like I was weird and said they only had 4 or less themselves.

I had over 20 in the smaller size. I thought that was normal but apparently not. Now I have a total of 6 that fit and I still feel like it's not enough!

And at $50 a pop, which is what I require in order to restrain Helga and Olga, it kind of made me want to cry. Crying

Gotta have my minimizer, though.

I was in need of a new one right as I got my BFP in June. When things started feeling not quite right, I went out and bought 2 new bras (thank you VS semi-annual sale) to "seal the deal." Obviously didn't work for me that time, but I'd be willing to try it again cuz hey, if it takes a whole new wardrobe to get a sticky baby...I'm willing to make that sacrifice. Wink

I wear a lot of sports bras for work so if I include those it's more than that. I am currently stuck on the Victoria Secret IPEX bra.

When I worked in retail they suggest: "Wear one, wash one and let one rest" So at least 3. I have tried to follow that, and I am pretty good. But DAMN buying a DDD (I refuse to say F) gets expensive.

LMAO at Helga and Olga! Nice names.... I had a male friend that was super short and stood at about chest height to me (and I'm 5''1") in high school. He named mine Heaven and Dream. I know super corny. i like yours (names) better.

I hear you on the cost of bras though. It's ridiculous! I swear they only get by charging as much as they do because they know we have to have them. Grrrrr.

Speaking of cost, you know what really frosts my cookies? The fact that, at Victoria's Secret, I have to pay $2 more for a bra that's a D cup or larger in size. What's that about? Huh, VS? Are you trying to say that the extra, like, couple of inches of lace and wire is worth $2 more? Why don't you charge more for larger underpants? Or gowns? Why just bras?

And by that logic, shouldn't you charge less for smaller sizes?

It makes no sense. I don't shop there anymore. I know $2 isn't a biggie, but it's the principle of the matter.

I LOVE them too!

Although when I needed new ones when I was KU I bought cheaper Warner's Invisible Under T-shirt bras which come in a very close second.

My boobs shrunk back a little after the mc and now I am between 2 sixes, its frustrating...Does anyone carry a C and a half?

I probably have about 15 bras. I have the victoria secret credit card. I buy stuff with card and then pay it off. So I am always getting coupons in the mail and that is when I go shopping for bras. They are always sending me magazines in my maiden name, married name, and to my husband. I did not have to buy bigger bras when I was pregnagnt.

I have a lot, but only 7-8 (only, I know) that I wear constantly. Too funny though, when I was about to close this post, my outlook popped open with a Victoria Secret email. It's like they're watching me and my wallet!
