I had my annual exam today with my nurse practitioner and she was so excited that I found fertility friend and charting. I had my "pre-conception" visit with a high risk doctor, so I missed out her on her pre-conception talk, where she was telling me that she normally points patients towards charting with fertility friend as a first step towards TTC.
After hearing from so many here that their doctor didn't care about their charting, I was really happy that she was so interested and really listening. She was surprised that I ovulate so late, but was very encouraging and very impressed by all of the info I had learned, so I told her about the Bump. Maybe she'll add that to her preconception pep talk to do list. I wish she could follow me once I'm pregnant, she's really great.
Since I'm "old", she wants to be proactive and do an SA if I'm not pregnant within the next three cycles. Eventhough I think this cycle will be a bust, this was a nice little boost to keep me going.
Ladies, you get a gold star from my NP!
Re: TTGP deserves a pat on the back!
that is wonderful! Again, why I prefer NP's to MD's anyday
best of luck!

I always knew she had a great bedside manner, but I never really gave it much thought until now. I was very disappointed when she told me that in the office I have to be handed off to an OB once I get pregnant. The practice is all women, but still.
I was just so happy the good info got a nod during an appointment, I had to share.
That's awesome! I'm glad your visit went well. I was surprised that my doctor knew all about charting and took me seriously too. After all the stories about some not knowing or caring, it does feel good to actually have Drs who will listen to you.
I hope you get a BFP soon, so your hubby doesn't have to do a SA. Fingers crossed
