when did your LO crack a smile =]

DD is 4 weeks today and i was wondering when we will see her smile on purpose rather than an involuntary facial twitch while shes sleeping LOL

Re: when did your LO crack a smile =]

  • The little man is 8 weeks today and I'd say he's been smiling for about 2-3 weeks.  I'd say in the last couple of days he's been actually smiling back when I smile.  I love it!

  • At 3.5 weeks, but the smile was a little goofy looking and he didn't do it frequently or consistently. Now, at 6 weeks, he smiles all the time and it's much more coordinated looking (if that makes sense). Soooo cute! 1ht from phone
  • Mine is 7 weeks and does not do it voluntary, yet. I'm waiting...
  • Charlotte's been smiling for about a week now.

  • She's been smiling for a week or two, it seems.

Not all the time, but sometimes in response to my making faces.

Or when she doesn't want to go back to bed, like this morning at 4:30 am....

"There comes a time in life, when you walk away from all the drama and people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh, forget the bad, and focus on the good. So love the people who treat you right, pray for the ones who don't. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is a part of life, getting back up is living."
  • DS' first smile when he was awake was at 5 weeks.  He started smiling more frequently around 7-8 weeks.
