So for our little girl, I think we've decided on Cameron Miranda (our last name begins with a "W" and is one syllable). We LOVE it...my only concern is that it might have too many "a" sounds...any thoughts??
Other front-runners were Cameron Leigh and Kiersten Leigh.
Please let me know what you think!

There aren't too many "a" sounds at all.
Congrats on finding the name you love!
(I also love Kiersten... and Miranda. Kiersten Miranda would be my choice, BUT this is your baby! Congrats!!!)

Yep, me too. I would go with Cameron Leigh.?

I prefer Cameron Leigh.
Thank you thank you thank you for not spelling it Camryn!
Agree.

This for me too. Love the name Miranda though.
This.
That was my first thought too.
I agree...
I think Miranda Cameron or Miranda Leigh would be much better. Possibly Cameron Leigh.
Me too! Although I like both names.
it's not the As at all that make it weird. it's the repetition of the end of the first name and the beginning of the middle name.
it's hard to spell it, but it's something like:
ca-MERUN-MERUN-da
I say go with Cameron Leigh!
Sorry, but I have to agree! WAY tooclose to Carmen Miranda....

Blah.
Can someone please explain WHY you must take a boy name and make it a girl name????? As if it isn't hard enough naming a boy already! There are SOOO many more girl names than boy names. I'm sick of seeing the girl Tyler's, Ryan's, Cameron's, Jayden's, etc.
Sorry. Small rant since we just named DS Cameron and am going to be totally pissed if it picks up any more as a girl name!
I'm partial to the "unisex" names because my name is Jordan! And I can't stand when people try to make them more feminine (like "Jordyn")...
just my style!
