I feel like I'm to bitter for the other board

Most of the ladies from when I first joined the TTCAL board are either on PGAL or here and the ladies on TTCAL now are so different. I feel like no one over there has been there long enough to be as p*ssed off and bitter as I am.....Theres days when I need to just be mad and angry at the Universe and after a year of trying and still no baby I'm really not to great at being as optimistic as they are anymore. I also am getting really tired of the same Charting, OPK, and "do you think I could be KU" questions. I think I may start hanging out over here alot more often if thats ok?

Thanks hun. I'm so sorry for your loss and that we all have to be here. This month is one year since we started TTC and we've had two losses since then.

I feel the same way...I've been there since Feb but we've only been trying since May so It hasn't been 6 months for me....I lurk here a lot though!

Possibly flame-worthy opinion in 5...4...3...2...1:

I think that the bozillion OPK and BFP and charting questions are particularly out of hand right now, more so than ever before, because the girls are allowing people to ask them. And it's really, IMO, turned that board into a pretty impersonal place. Say what you want about snark but, for the love of PETE, just 2 months ago that board was a much safer (from goats and the like), fun, honest place to be.

Which is why I'm so glad we have this board to go to. I'm glad you've made the move.

No flaming here I completely agree....I feel like its alot of "puppies and rainbows" now. When I came onto that board it was a safe place where you could be bitter, angry, and honest. I really think the problem is alot of the people on the board are new to TTCAL and aren't at the very realistic honest place that we are all at after being there for as long as we have. Someone made a comment the other day in a post about it being her first month TTCAL and she was so bummed she wasn't KU but she didn't wanna complain because "Lord knows many of you guys have been on here much longer than that". No one backed me up and I was the ONLY person to say something about how that statement could be taken as very insensitive. Granted she apologized but still. At that moment I realized how different the board had become

I'm sorry. That was a really, really insensitive and hurtful comment. I wish someone would have had your back. I would've!

Welcome to the board. I am so glad we have this board where we can be bitter and the rest of us understand. We tried for a few years before getting pregnant with our twins, so I was a little bitter then, after the second loss I have become much more bitter. The sad thing is now dh is bitter also and he used to be the one who tried to keep me positive.

Welcome to this board. I agree with you 100%. *** I feel like I've taken out stock in OPK's and have had to renew my FF subscription twice now with still no baby in my arms. I hate to hear of anyone having a loss, it is a sad, lonely, angry place to be, but for those of us who have lost a child and had to continue through the struggle of ttc with no success, that takes you to a whole new level of bitter. I feel much more comfortable on this board as well and I am grateful to have a place to vent free of judgement.

There seems to be a recent wave of BFP's I hope your stay here is short.

Thanks hun! I feel like over on the TTCAL board I've become the girl that no one on the board wants be like and I can't blame them. Most of them have been trying maybe a few months after there first loss and are getting KU right away so they don't understand the place that I'm at right now. I'm so happy that I have you ladies on this board!
