1) Do you play any? Other than guitar hero, not really. I sing. I bug DH to teach me things on the guitar every once in a while.

2) Did you used to play any? Why did you stop? Growing up I played the violin. I also was always in multiple choirs and singing things. I stopped violin because I really didn't enjoy it. I still sing but more for my amusement. Every now and then I do something for my old church.

3) If you could play any, which would you choose? I would know how to play the guitar for real.

4) What is the funniest instrument in your opinion? Maybe for it's appearance, name, sound, etc... I think the oboe is just a funny word. It reminds me of "elbow" but not quite. The tuba is fun.

1) Do you play any? not well, lol!

2) Did you used to play any? Why did you stop?  I played the flute in grade school band, and stopped when I got bored with it.  I was learning to play the guitar in high school... a guy friend I liked was teaching me... but I stopped b/c I wasn't very good... the guitar I bought was not the right size for my tiny fingers to play well, and I didn't care enough about it to spend more money on another guitar.

4) What is the funniest instrument in your opinion? Maybe for it's appearance, name, sound, etc... Probably the sax, we used to give my best friend so much grief about her "sax lessons" ... kids, lol!

1) Now, no.

2) Viola & Trumpet. I stopped the viola b/c it used to kill my fingers. I stopped the trumpet b/c the stupid band director did not like to have girl trumpeters ( so he mad my life h3ll)

3) I've tried to teach myself piano & guitar with not much luck. I really wish I could play the bagpipes !

I still have my flute but don't play much.  Currently learning nadaswaram.  WTF is that?  Glad you asked:

Oboe & bassoon.  I stopped when I got out of college b/c it's expensive to have your own (a bassoon cost more than my car!  $10k+) & I was able to borrow them from school up til that point.

3) If you could play any, which would you choose?

Harp.  So pretty.

1) Do you play any? Yes - i sing, play bass guitar, and french horn

2) Did you used to play any? Why did you stop? i used to play alto saxophone, guitar, upright string bass, and fiddle  on others.  I stopped playing alto when I started playing french horn my JR year of HS.  Guitar, i'll still play around on but i stink :P  and I would love to play upright bass but i don't own one.

3) If you could play any, which would you choose?  i wish i could play piano.  I know all the notes, chords, the concepts of different styles...i just can't execute it.  it takes me hours of practice to play the most simple practice songs for beginner piano!

4) What is the funniest instrument in your opinion? Maybe for it's appearance, name, sound, etc...  bassoon.  for all of the above.  although there is a super awesome bassoon quintet that did a lady gaga medly that is super awesome.  look it up on youtube!

 

--- BTW --- music is one of my undergrad degrees & i'm certified to teach music.

2) Did you used to play any? Why did you stop? I've played the piano since I was 10....so, with a few pauses throughout my life, I've played for 17 years.

3) If you could play any, which would you choose? The guitar; I'd love to learn.

4) What is the funniest instrument in your opinion? Maybe for it's appearance, name, sound, etc...  The accordian - I'm not a fan of the way it sounds.
