My about-to-go-bad tomatoes thank you!

They did not live in vain.

I had more tomatoes than I thought so now have a green pepper, sausage, tomato dish, salsa, plain tomato sauce, and two left over for dinner tonight.

And seriously! I never would have thought homemade sauce was that quick, easy or good. I may even try buying in bulk while in season and freezing! Wink

    Yay!  I have canned tomatoes in 5 different ways and I still have tomatoes on my deck waiting to be utilized.  It makes all of those years of buying sauce in the store so foolish!
