My mum told me that it doesn't matter what kind of solids I give DD, because "babies do not have taste buds". Indifferent

    I've just heard the classics. "Crying is good for his lungs" and "If you stand him up he'll end up bow legged" etc....

    Babies can't be in chlorinated pools because their skin isn't thick enough and the chemicals will seep in. Confused

    I need to let DD cry, it helps her lungs develop.

    If I don't let her CIO at night she'll be spoiled. It's good for her to CIO and learn to sleep in her crib, alone, all night.

    Holding him while he cries will spoil him. 

    I should have given him solids by the time he was 2 months old-now he'll be "behind".
