I'm a loser - please help me with a thank you note

OK I feel like a loser for having to ask this, but I got about 2 hours (total) sleep last night, so bear with me!

There's a friend of my dad's who I know relatively well out of his group of friends - we've emailed back and forth a couple of times since her granddaughter had colic and I recommended Miracle Blankets to help swaddle her, among other things. Anyway, this very nice lady sent us $50 via Paypal last night - there was no note, but I'm presuming it was for Will and Dash since we sent out their birth announcements about 3 weeks ago and she got one.

It was really unexpected - although of course appreciated! - and I'm fumbling with what to write in a thank you note to her.

Dear XXXX,
Thank you so much for your generous gift! We're furnishing a play room for the boys, so it will really come in handy - I'll send photos when it's done!
How is [granddaughter] doing? Has the colic settled down?

Is that OK? Should I add more?

Thanks ladies! I know it's silly..I'm just so sleep deprived that I can't think straight lol! And I want to send her a note before I forget...

I think it sounds just fine as is. I did add to some of our thank you cards "thank you for thinking of our growing family" but my baby isn't here yet so it was tough to say where a gift certificate was going to be spent.
