Teachers: Is your summer over???

I go back for teacher work week tomorrow.  The students start the 23rd.  DS starts with his new babysitter tomorrow.  We are opting for the babysitter versus daycare bc we had so many issues last year.  The babysitter is our former PTO president and used to work at our school.  She picks DS up and 3 other kids at our school in the morning and then we pick them up at her house after school.  He has gone for a few hrs a few days this summer to get aquainted, but I am still nervous!!!!!  Anyway, if u are headed back to school, good luck and have a great year!!!!

    Yes I went back on Thursday :( The students come tomorrow. We are also using a new babysitter. So far so good. Good luck to you!

    No. I have alllll day today. lol I'm trying to positive. But yes, we go back tomorrow. Kids next week. Katie is starting a new preschool, but it starts next week too. I'm pretty nervous about drop off because she has gotten really clingy recently. Summers are such a tease!

    I am a Counselor not a teacher but my summer ended August 2nd :( Tomorrow is Freshmen Orientation Day and Tuesday is the first day for all students. I get 6 weeks off.

    Almost over, go back officially the 24th, although I'm sure I will head back prior to that.  Childcare is always tricky, but it sounds like you have someone great!  I know there are great daycares out there but we had issues, too, when my twins were 3-6 months.  So we've been fortunate to have someone come to our home-which makes sense for us logistically and saving my sanity! :)  My twins will start preschool next month, and I am hoping they do great! :) Best of luck to you and I am sure everything will be fine! :)

    I am a counselor too!  I am an elem counselor tho, so I get off the same amount of time as them.

    We go back Tuesday for inservices and the kids return on the 23rd.  I'm counting today as the last day of summer, though, since I plan to go to school and work on my room/lessons all day tomorrow.

    We went back on the 11th and the kids came on Friday.  Weird I know about the kids going one day and then having the weekend, but that first day is exhausting so it was nice.  Good luck to you!
