I never realized how many people really need a test to say "pregnant" or "not pregnant" in order to get it. I'm pretty sure that all line tests say something along the lines of "it doesn't matter how dark the test line is. If it's there, it's there."
I married a ginger.

If my husband ever questioned it, I would just show him the damn directions. But he knows I'm not a moron, so he trusts me.

So many stupids, so little time.
I've definitely peed on some digitals myself. I don't have anything against them. I just think it's funny how often people make posts about faint lines and ask what it means.

I don't think it is in order for them to get it. After peeing on so many sticks it is easy for your eyes to make up a line but it is hard for your eyes to make up the words "Pregnant". It is an awesome slap to your face to read it too.
For me, I only had one test and so I went out and bought more and those tests were horrible and not consistent at all (blue dye). I decided to get a CB digital then. I never posted mine on here asking about the line though so I guess that could be the difference.
yeah they are! my digital picked up my pregnancy withOUT fmu. I got my beta later that day and it was 4.
To be honest, given that I tracked my chemical pregnancies through fading lines and a digital that went from Pregnant (after the full three minutes) to Not Pregnant, for me - it's a totally mental, meaningless soothing moment to see Pregnant pop up less than a minute later.
They're less sensitive than the line tests, so it I rationalize something is going right in there.
Obviously, I am a basket case so feel free to ignore this so called "logic."
I had a few very faint lines that never got darker. After than DH didn't really trust lines, not even the 4 positive from 2 different brands.
My husband didn't believe the two faint lines, even though I read him the instructions out loud. His excuse is that he didn't believe that it was a line.
Ha ha ha ha...oh Vflipo. My DH refused to buy line tests this time around. Although, I had just ordered 10 of them off of Amazon along with 40 OPKs....
So True! I tested a few days before AF was to show and the line was very faint. My DH kept saying I dont see it. I was annoyed! I tried to explain that it didnt matter how faint the line was but he was worried and said he didnt want me to get my hopes up. So that evening I used a digital and it confirmed my earlier BFP. DH was satisfied. Nice thing about the digital was I took a pic with my cell and will text it to my mom when we are ready to tell her.
I prepped DH. When we were ttc, I would show him positive pregnancy tests with very faint lines and explain that they were positive. I had a very, VERY faint line when I first POAS and even I doubted it. I later took a digital and called DH, he said as he was thinking about it on the way to work and was pretty sure it was positive. I trained him well.
me too, however I found that they proved to be more helpful than I could have ever imagined...
I had a cycle, then AF, then a cycle with spotting just after OV (temp rise). I had terrible cramps & thought it was very early implantation & thought maybe I was a couple more days past OV than I thought. I tested on a cheap strip & it showed a BFP. This is when I went & bought a digital, the only one in store was one that stated how many weeks you were.....expecting it not to register or to say perhaps 1-2 weeks I discovered i was 2-3weeks (past conception) which made no sense....after a few scans & blood tests at the hospital it turned out I had fallen pregnant the month before and had heavy bleeding (which i mistook for AF) ...it unfortunately ended in a miscarriage several weeks later, the hcg hormone never went up higher than it did on my test.
:::lurking:::
ditta all this (only I had 1 chemical pregnancy but several years of infertility, meaning dozens of tests) ... a person can really convince yourself that it's just an evaporation line or something. seeing a positive pregnancy test is hard to believe after all the negatives.
