I am praying for a BFP next week otherwise the doctor wants to move on to IUI. I am clueless as to how this will increase our odds, but we are doing everything we can to conceive.
Question: Do IUIs increase your odds for multiples?

The IUI won't increase your chance of multiples. The drugs are what increase your chances. Do you know what you'll be taking? I only had 2 follies when I took Clomid, but as many as 6 with Follistim injections. If you are taking any drugs just make sure you are monitored and then you and your Dr. will be able to gauge your response and whether it is safe to continue the cycle.

Thanks for your response. I have no clue if I am going to take anything in addition to Femara. I just know that my doctor doesn't think I would be able to carry more than one baby...so I am sure he will monitor me closely. I was actually considering putting off IUI one more cycle.

I never took Femara so I'm not sure how much it increases your multiples, but I imagine it probably does raise your chances a bit so I'm glad to hear he is monitoring you closely. The IUI should increase your overall chance of getting pregnant though so it could be worth considering.
