I always loved the name Spencer for a boy, and was planning on using it if I ever had a son, but after watching Pretty Little Liars (I know,I know, it's like I'm 15. DH makes fun of me), I've started to really like it for a girl.
So .. thoughts ? Do you prefer it as a boy name or a girl name ?

I actually like it for a girl, although it's traditionally a boy's name. I also watch Pretty Little Liars (love it!), BTW. And Spencer Grammar (Kelsey's daughter) is the star of Greek and I also think of her when I hear the name. Like it or not, I bet it's the next name that will be crossing over into girl territory.
I didn't know his daughters name was Spencer ! Weird, I love him. I agree ! I've heard a lot of controversy with the other people I've asked, so I'm thinking it could very well be.
Oh my gosh! I TOTALLY called this thread two days ago:

Bah ha ha ha ha ha!
Ah ha ha ha ha ha ha!
I have a cousin named Spencer who is a girl. It's very feminine to me.
100% boy. A good rule of thumb of baby names is just because you hear it on TV, doesn't mean it's okay for real life.
