If someone asks me if DD is crawling I will say she is army crawling. I do not really feel that is the crawling they are asking, so I include the army detail.

my kids could get from a to b long before they could actually crawl. and for the development parts- the opposing motions (like right leg and left arm) and trunk strength, are part of the actual milestone.

To me, army crawling and inchworm style would be considered "creeping"
