Length of crib skirt?

I'm planning to order my crib skirt through Carousel Designs, and they offer a 14" skirt or a 20" skirt (for $30 more).  I'm worried that the 20" will look good while the mattress is in the top position, then I'd have to figure out how to fold it so that it worked on the lower position.  Or am I fine just going with the 14" and having some space at the bottom?  I'm not planning on hiding anything under my crib :-)

    I was worried about length as well. I ended up getting a 14" skirt and think it looks just fine with the mattress in the top position..
