Most absurd advice I've heard yet

About packing a diaper bag:

You never know when you're going to want to snap a shot of a precious moment, so keep a disposable camera in the bag. This is also good in case you are in a fender bender, you can take pictures of the damage on the spot.

WTF? Having a kid makes me more likely to get into fender benders? Also, thanks for the advice from 1995... I will make sure to get all my film developed in triple prints, too, so the grandmothers can have copies.

    I'm laughing so hard right now because I have this picture of some woman on the side of the road in a wreck, with a screaming infant in the car, some random stranger standing there looking stupid because they ran into the mother of the infant, and the mother goes "hold on a second let me get my camera" and busts out with a polaroid camera from back in the day. Then, takes a picture and starts shaking it when it comes out to make sure it developes and has all the "evidence" she needs LOL. Ok, so I am totally random but I cant stop laughing. Having said that, its time to go eat some chinese food. Stick out tongue

    HA! 1995! Prehistoric times! ;)

    Yeah just about every cell phone these days has a pretty decent camera on them, so you're covered there and I don't know about you but nearly everyone I know, including myself, at least has a 10megapixel digital camera (or better!) 

    This made me laugh a lot. Thanks!

    lol - I do have a disposable camera in the glove box of my car for this very reason Embarrassed I think it might have actually been 1996 when I started driving & my Dad always had me do this...looks like the habit stuck...this definitely made me laugh

    LOL! That is hilarious. It sounds like she is saying you might get in a fender bender on the way to the hospital since the camera is for your *hospital bag*

    Tripple prints glossy with a white boarder from costco to be exact! Bahahahahahahahaha!

    I laughed really hard at this. Luckily my SO isn't home and can't lecture me on how film REALLY IS better then digital and I should listen to this advice. (He's a photographer.)

    My insurance company gave me a giant baby book from the 90's. I've run across some things like this. Its always nice to get a good giggle in when reading a book that sounds like it was made to give to med students.
