Anyone else? I forgot how draining the first trimester is. I feel like I cannot wake up no matter how much sleep I get. It hit me hard at 5 weeks, and it's only gotten worse. Anyone else?
I have been exhausted! I never nap during the day and I napped on Saturday and Sunday. ?Today, I wanted to nap so bad but couldn't at work ... Can't let the kids teach themselves!

Yup! I'm wiped. I napped both Sat and Sun. I ate ice cream today for a pick me up - bad all around! I can't keep that in the house anymore (I work from home). I should have had a quick cat nap - I would have felt more rested, and not so disgusting!
Same here! I feel like I got hit with a bat when I get home from work.Mybelly is sticking out and I want to sleep as I drive home!! OMG what are these two babies doing to me!
I'm a kindergarten teacher too...and I feel like I am ready to quit now. I can barely make it through the day. When the students nap it takes everything within me not to fall asleep too! Ladies who have done this before...does it get better?
oh i feel the same way!! i teach and have to be going all day. my prep time is in the morning, so i don't get a midday slow down. EXHAUSTING! and the worst is when i envision me placing my head on my desk just for 5minutes...oh it'd feel so nice! :-p
I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who seems to get hit with a ton of bricks every afternoon/evening. It doesn't seem to matter how much sleep I get at night, come early evening, the exhaustion is written all over my face and I just want to nap. This coming from someone who usually had only 5-6 hours of sleep per night and never napped!
I am so exhausted and I don't hit 5 weeks until Wednesday. I have been laying on the couch all weekend and I hardly feel like doing anything. I don't know how I'm going to get through the next 7 weeks of school. It's going to be all I can do to stay awake and try not to be cranky from being so tired.
Yes! I'm not the only one I feel like such a lazy A#$ LOL it's my second pregnancy and I don't remember being so tired. I guess 6 years ago I was only 20 and didn't have a six year old to get off to school, a big house to clean cook dinner and all the other things I have now. But i'm sooooooo tired. I can sleep in take a nap but i'm still tired. What gives? How long does this last? Not to mention with my son I had morning sickness but I would get sick and feel better. This one I'm nausseaus all day long. I feel like I have super human smell and everything smells nasty. Oh and my skin. Don't even get me started. I'm an esthetician so I would like to say I take pride in keeping my skin nice but I can't control these break outs. I'm only 6 weeks and this is nothing like my first pregnancy. Oh and the last thing. Moody! I promised my husband with my first I wasn't moody and I wouldn't be what he calls "hormonal" (which by the way ercks me to no end when he call me this) But i'm so grumpy. I don't know what's taken over my body. LOL
both saturday and sunday after being out for a bit i came home totally wiped out and napped a few hours, then did nothing for a few hours and went right back to bed for the night. work is impossible--i literally took a nap in my car over lunch the other day and i might do it today too! i'm BEAT!
