I was lurking on another board, and saw that someone mentioned concern for a thin lining while on Clomid.
I'm beginning to wonder if this is the reason for my CP last cycle. Not that I'm blaming, but I guess just having a reason would be nice. Anyway, I'm going to push my RE for mid-cycle monitoring (which he doesn't do). When should he be looking at the uterine lining? If it looks thin, what do they do? What about too thick?
On a side note, I haven't been super active on the boards lately. Been studying for a BIG test to move on to grad school. Well, I passed! So you lovely ladies will be seeing more of me, at least until I move on to my next BIG test. Hope all's well...
Re: Clomid & lining ?
My RE did a u/s when I got a + OPK - so right as I was surging. I drank POM juice everyday from AF to O. I am not sure if it really helped my lining, but my lining was good (my RE even commented on it and was happy).
Some RE's do a u/s at a specific cycle day. I am surprised that your RE deosn't do any monitoring. I would definately ask. Good luck.
Ya know, I asked my RE about this at my last appointment...and he looked at me like I was crazy... that wont keep me from drinking it though! I like the taste- and I know it wont hurt.
I know when I told my RE (we were on the phone) she really didn't say much, but I could tell she thought it was wierd. I figure it's juice and it can't "hurt" anything so I was going with better safe than sorry.
Yeah, I drank it my first Clomid cycle. Then I got overly paranoid about a too thick lining and ditched it for cycle 2. Of course, now I'm kicking myself wondering what, if anything, I could have done to have a better outcome.
Thanks ladies. I think I'll take the Pom again.
