15 month appt--what to expect?

DS is coming up on 15 months in another week. I was told to make a 15 month appt for him at his 1 year well visit. What happens? Shots? It seems like I am always the one with him when he has to have shots and it is so unfair! I hate watching him cry and get upset. :(

    I think it depends on what practice you go to. We go to Jeffers and Mann and DD had the routine check (weight, height, head, exam) up plus 2 shots. It was not too bad. If you go to Jeffers and Mann their new website has their vaccine schedule on it and tells you what they will get at each apt.

    Ooh that's great to know. I always wonder about their schedule.

    I was surprised to get shots at 15m, I know a lot of practices don't do any at 15months. They also asked more questions about motor skills and speech at 15m than they had in the past.
