I really, really, really wanted the metformin to work!! What about increasing the dose? Are you waiting until September or no?
Well, I'll still go back to the Endo in September. I'm just starting to get a bit impatient despite knowing that "impatience is not a fertility issue - RG"...
I'm sort of developing the mind frame, especially after spending so much more time on 3T that no matter what, there is an issue, and while Met helps, it doesn't necessarily solve, kwim?
I'm starting to feel like I am just wasting time waiting for *something* to happen.
I know what you mean. I guess I'm still in la la land, thinking that metformin is a miracle drug and that's all I'll need
The upped dose is fine. It has only been 1 day so far. I am finding that I have to force myself to eat dinner and I really don't want to. But I've always taken the met after a meal, when I'm full. I guess I have to go eat dinner so I can take it again tonight.
Don't give up hope yet! I know it isn't a miracle drug, but it does take time. Are you going to increase the dose?

I do the 3 hour GTT again before I go back in the end of September. I presume based upon those results, we'll see if I up the dose.
Erm, we are the same people because I felt the same way about the Met, you know this. I think I am just starting to feel like the Met won't be enough between the trio : PCOS/ameorrhea/anovulation. Maybe if it was just the PCOS things would be different. Bleh!
I'm glad you're OK so far.. I'm thinking about you love.
I hope you are able to find a knowledgeable RE that comes up with a great plan for you ((hugs))

We are the same! I think that is why it breaks my heart to see you struggling
BUT, I am going to stay optimistic for the both of us! I'll be thinking, praying, keeping my fingers crossed, etc. for you!!

I understand your frustration. I've only O'd twice in more than a year of "trying" and both of those were very late and considered a poor response. I want to have a shot every month like most people!
Good luck at the RE.

I'm sorry...I feel the same way. I don't even consider us TTC unless we're working with our RE. It blows, but it's the reality of the situation. I hope you can get some answers with the RE.
ETA: I don't want to rain on your parade, but I've been on Met a combined 16 months or so and I have never ovulated. Clomid didn't work either, but you can see the beautiful result of injectible meds in my siggy - we conceived her the very first time I ovulated, with Gonal-F and TI. I'm in my 2ww right now for no. 2 using Gonal-F and TI again. The "good" thing about anovulation is that most women can be stimulated to ovulate, given the right drugs. It's all about figuring out what works for you, and unfortunately it isn't quick or easy. But REs are amazing people.
Re: O'ing is a requirement for a BFP, ugh.

Thanks love. I'm thinking about you too - you better get a BFP this cycle because frankly, I'm tired of your BFN's.
