IVFers: CD 3 test question

in TTC After a Loss 6 Months+

Tomorrow is my CD 3 test - what is that?

I know I can ask Dr. Google but also wanted your experiences... in other words, how freaked out should I be? Nurse said ultrasound and blood test. I'm assuming that's just a simple blood draw and an over-the-belly u/s? Please don't let it be an up-the-bloody-vajay u/s!

    i'm not an IVFer but an IUIer, and for my cd3 tests - which I am guessing are the same for IVF b/c it's same concept of monitoring the follies, it's been one blood drawer and a dildo cam. sorry to report.

     

     

    m/c#1 07/16/08 (11 weeks), m/c#2 10/10/08 (8 weeks). and then nothing since except every test possible (no answers). IUI#1 and #2: BFNs Super lucky to be buddies with Peetie. Our out of nowhere, surprise DD born 5/29/2011

    UGH!! I realize in the big scheme of what I'm about to go through, a "messy" dildo cam u/s is no big deal. And don't get me wrong, I'll gladly swallow said cam orally if it would just give me a healthy baby... still. Not.A.Fan.

    I am not doing IVF but started Clomid and possible IUI this cycle and on day 3 I did LH,FSH,PROEGESTERONE and Estradiol and the dildo cam

    IVFer here...that sounds funny...and this is exactly right.  Get comfy with the dildo cam...as you start your stims you get to visit with her every day!!

    cd 3 is bloodwork and dildo cam, I hated having one the first time since I had af, but I got used to it and the office does it all the time.
