Trouble TTC

back from the shore and update on me (long)

So i went down the shore last wednesday morning and had started follistim 100iu tuesday (8/3). So saturday (CD7) I had to go in for my follie check. I woke up at 4:30am to make sure I was one of the first people at the RE office since it opens for monitoring at 6am. Well it turned out that I responded really well and it looked like I was going to have 4 good follies. So they called and told me to lower my follistim to 50iu.

So I went back again Sunday morning (left at 4:30 again) and they told me to trigger sunday night since I had 4 follies--18, 17, 17, 16. and we had b2b IUIs yesterday and today.

The best thing was my DHs numbers. the past couple IUIs his count was at 5million post wash. Well yesterday his count was at 18mil and today it was at 36 mil--still not sure how that happened!

So it was a little crazy having to drive up from the shore, but i will take it! the only bad thing is my TSH level went a little lower than they want and they changed my synthroid dosage to 50mcg instead of 75.

I am going to try and catch up today on everyone's posts!

  • Sounds like good news!  I hope the dosage change will help you TSH level.  Good luck!  When is your beta?

  • Wow, those are awesome numbers!  Your DH gives me hope for mine, lol!  His numbers have been anywhere from 5-11 mil post wash and I am hoping for some awesome numbers this time around.

Sounds like you and I ended up on a similar schedule for our IUI's with the injections.  I just posted about mine (had my CD7 appt today) and will have IUI's on CD9-10!

Good luck!  I hope you're getting great news in a couple weeks!
