Recommend your swaddle

What do you use to swaddle LO? I am looking for something that is not to heavy as it is really hot were we live. I have been swaddling with a blanket but it is now working very well.

I'm a fan of the SwaddleMe's. They're fairly light - like t-shirt fabric.

Ditto. It's been in the 100s for weeks in Dallas too.

The Aden and Anais swaddling blankets are muslin and extra lightweight, but I like the easiness of the SwaddleMes - love the velcro!

I love our Halo sleepsack with swaddle, it's the only thing she can't get out of! She always manages to get her hands out of her Swaddleme and blankets.

It has been a horribly hot summer here as well and I can't use my Swaddle Design ones because they are flannel! After endless searching I finally settled on these two: Aiden & Anais muslin and bamboo blankents. The bamboo ones are sooooooooooo soft I wish they made them for adults! I also purchased a bamboo wrap/carrier from Etsy - it's a great fabric for hot weather.

We like the cotton SwaddleMe's too. I think they're $20 for a pack of 2. If you don't have a BRU near you I've seen them at Target and K-Mart.

This is us, too. When we were at the hospital, they repeatedly told us NOT to swaddle using free-form swaddle blanket because I guess they can break loose and suffocate LO. We were told to use the one w/ velcro instead. So while LO's arms sometime get out, we still use this over the regular blanket at night.

I love our woombie. He can't get out. We live in Phoenix and it is hot. I still put a onesie under it and he stays the perfect temp.

Aden and Anias muslim blankets, perfect for summer babies! I use them for swaddling but they serve lots of purposes. We have the summer swaddle me's as well, but he can squirm from the waist down so he prefers the blankets.
