Can't find any wall art I like. Surely I could recreate this piece in a different color??

  • Oh yeah, I would think this would be really easy!  Making sure it's all symmetrical could be a little challenging.  I would draw a big + sign in pencil that I could erase and go off of that to make it all even.

  • I think you should go for it. (Plus, JoAnn's has a 50% off sale on canvases right now.)

Etsy has a ton of this stuff on the website. Just type in Wall Decals and you will be overwhelmed!
  • no, it shouldn't be hard. i don't know how large you want it, but michael's was having a sale on canvases a few weeks ago. i would get a roll of tracing paper and cut out half the pattern with an exacto knife, pencil it in on half the canvas, then flip the paper over to make sure the symmetry is right. they'll also have acrylic paint in whatever color you want. this would also work on a wall if you just wanted it directly on the wall.

  • I am not creative or crafty at all, and I couldn't find anything I liked. I wanted prints that were white with clean lines and one brightly coloured image in the center (didn't matter what it was). I was at our local dollar store one day and found white frames and a sheet of cute, bright frog decals. $7 later (decals, frames, and card stock), I had my wall art.

    You can do it!

I guess technically now I should be SecondBabyMomma Lilypie Third Birthday tickers Lilypie First Birthday tickers
