Brenna first started cold symptoms a week ago yesterday...mostly goopy eyes, some nasal congestion, and a tiny cough. It just sort of lingered like that all week, but she has been coughing more and today her coughing seemed less dry...she's not coughing up anything that I can tell but it just sounds different.
She still doesn't have fever, is her usual happy self and is still eating normally....at what point do I start to get concerned about the cough?
Re: Cold/Cough - when to worry?
Since she's over 3 months and doesn't have a temp, there's not much the doc would do so don't worry about it. If her temp starts to rise, then start to track the temps and her behavior and other symptems and if things decline, call the doc with this info. The more info you can provide (how long she's had symptoms, her highest temps of the day, change in behavior, etc), the better for the docs to diagnose and help.

Ditto what Superaunt says - Laney is sick right now. I talked to the pedi yesterday - if the cough is keeping her up, or it seems difficult for her to eat/swallow, then call. If she's got a high fever, call. Laney has had a low-grade fever and they told me if she's got a fever for 3 days, call. Today is day 3 (she was asleep when I left this morning, so I haven't taken her temp yet - heading home in a bit). If the discharge is green - call.
It sucks when the babes are sick....
