DH and I were not thrilled about the selection at BRU and some of the other large chain stores, so we looked online and picked a few to check out today. I have to say that "Baby Furniture Warehouse" in Reading MA is fantastic. They have a really great selection and the service was excellent. We ended up picking out a complete set and they are delivering it in a few months. Just a heads up to anyone looking for an alternative to the large chains!

PSA: A lot of the furniture that we were looking at takes forever to come in. One set we liked was a 16 week lead time....I'm due in 17, so that one was out! The one we picked is a 10-12 week turnaround. Just in case some of you haven't thought about your nursery furniture yet, it can definitely take a while to come in! I was very surprised, and thankful that we ended up going today!

    It was more than I was expecting to pay, but my DH seemed like it was spot on for the solid wood kind. Our set was $1680, which included the crib with conversion kit, 3 drawer dresser with the changing pad, and the 5 drawer dresser. Overall I don't think it was that bad, but its definitely more than a BRU or Target.

    We just went there over the weekend and picked up our crib, dresser and changing pad holder.  There was a great selection to choose from and since it was a tax free weekend it was even better!  They also have the foam Colgage mattresses for those that are looking! 

     Great deals & excellent quality furniture!  I'd recommend checking it out! :)

    We bought our furniture at Baby Furniture Warehouse too - it is being bdelivered on Friday!!  We are sooo excited!!  We wound up buying a set too - crib, converstion kit, toddler rails, double dresser with hutch and 6 drawer dresser - so excited for it to come in!!  They deliver, set up and take away trash too - and it is reasonably priced!!
