Another girl name option

We've got our boy name picked out but are still back and forth on the girl name. Our latest option: Maggie Lee M______. Thoughts? Lee is a family name.

I feel like Maggie is too nickname-y for a full first name. It's cute, though.

Cute. I would likely give her a full first name, and use the nn Maggie, but I wouldn't side-eye anyone who just used Maggie.

I like Maggie as nickname, but not so much as a first name because it makes me think of "The Simpsons".

Not a fan of Maggie... too many people name their dogs Maggie, etc. Plus it sounds too nicknamey to me. Sorry, NMS.

Maggie sounds nicknamey to me, too. I can't imagine a Supreme Court Justice named Maggie. Margaret, Megan, Margery, Marguerite -- these are all names that you can call Maggie.

I have a friend who is just Maggie, no formal longer name. It suits her well, and she is a professional woman. To my knowledge, not being a "Margaret" hasn't held her back
