Lack of cm + no pos OPK = ???

Hmmm...

So for the second cylce in a row, I have had no cm around what should be O time.  A couple days ago I had one burst of very thin cm and haven't had anything since.  Same thing happened last cycle and I had no cm for the remainder of my cycle (I went on to have a 23 day cycle).

So far this cycle I have not gotten a pos OPK.  O day should have been yesterday or today.  

I'm feeling pretty down in the dumps about this.  I know none of you are OB's (at least I don't think you are), but do think it's possible that I'm not O'ing at all?  Obviously I'm feeling the need to start charting, cause I just have no idea WTF is going on with my body. ugh.

    I didn't O for a long time and if I hadn't been charting I would have never known.   You probably don't want to hear this, but I suggesst charting big time.

    I used to not chart, and get no pos OPK's, then I started charting and found I O'd a whole week later than I was POAS!  I know u don't wanna, but cha gotta Wink

    Yep. This. Time to break out the BBT and join us OCDers on FF.

    With that said, if your cycles are pretty regular (and 35 days or less), you are probably O-ing. But you may be guesstimating your LP incorrectly. Charting will help you to narrow it down.

    And a secondary comment about charting:  After our m/c my cycles were much different than before.  They were several days longer, changed lengths each month, and I ovulate much later than before (by about a week) - I never would have known this until I charted.  Plus, I almost went bankrupt buying OPK's because I was testing way too early.

    Definately need to chart. It is possible you aren't O'ing at all. Buts its also possible you are O'ing super early. You will never know unless you chart. Its really not bad. And if you don't want to stick to it I would suggest just doing it one or to cycles just to know for sure.

    You described my last month's cycle to a T. 23 days, no cm, no positive opk, but because I chart I can say with certainty that I didn't ovulate. It was my second cycle since my loss and this month seems more regular and my temps help me see that and I started using the cbefm.

    Okay, I'm sold!  Charting it is.  No for a pretty stupid question...

    Where does one by a BBT?  Can you find them at the drugstore or do I need to order one online? (I've been looking online and obviously I've found about a thousand I can order, just wondering if I can pick one up without ordering online..)

    Any drug store or Target. Theres nothing special about them and none are better than the other. The only thing about one I prefer is one that lights up. Thats because I usually take me temp really early and its still kind of dark. Also it saves the last temp so I pop it in my mouth and afterwards fall back asleep usually forgetting what the temp was when I wake back up. Having it stored helps.

    I hate to say it, but charting might be your best bet to truly make sure.  I hope that in a day or so you O!!

    Charting will definitely help. As for the BBT, I just made sure that mine showed the hundredths place and stored the last temperature. I got mine from Rite Aid and it works well.
