HELP...we have tried everything and end up awake in middle of night when he thinks its playtime...if we lay him down he thinks its a joke and gets even wilder....should i just leave him? Im afraid he will try scaling the crib!
We just leave him. He spent three hours one night talking to his giraffe (it's a 5.5 foot giraffe that looks over his crib) and sleeping intermittently. Never cried though, so I let him do it without going in. He slept in the next morning.
If he were crying I would consider going in because typically waking up and crying in the middle of the night = ear infection or teething for us. Otherwise he sleeps through the night.
