Tuesday night I got home from work he was laying on the couch telling me he was in pain and having hard time breathing. He kept saying his chest felt so tight and he could not breathe.
I was an EMT about 6 years ago so I went thru his symptoms and checked his pulse and told him we were going to the ER.
My husband is very stubborn.
So he was feeling better Wednesday morning ( I slept like crap cause I kept waking up to see if he was ok) He went to the dentist to get a tooth pulled. They took his blood pressure and it was 148/92 so they told him they would not pull his tooth and he needed to go to the doc.
The doc saw him right away, they gave him some blood thinning pills and set him up for stress tests this morning.
He just called me. He said that the stress test and the ultrasound on his heart showed he has a slight heart attack and that his left side of his heat is enlarged. They want him to see a cardiologist.
My husband is 33 years old. If I lose him my world will be over.
So if you can send T&P's i'm a wreck, and he is very calm about it. Even making jokes about if I shoudl get the $500K life insurance policy now so I can be set.

Oh my, I am so sorry hun. That is definitely a scary thing to go through. Your DH is so young, which is definitely something that is in his favour. It just means he'll be able to bounce back from this quicker.
Is there a history of heart disease in his family?
ETA: sorry, I hit send to quickly. I meant to say that I will definitely keep you and DH in my T&P's.

Thoughts and prayers coming your way. I am dealing with something very similar with my husband. He had his first cardiologist apt this past tuesday and we head back next Tuesday for another apt. If you need someone to talk to I am here.
I'm so sorry. I know how scary that is.
Huge hugs to both of you!

Oh I am so sorry. I totally thought you were just being funny with your post title, I did NOT expect to read this.
I'll definitely say a prayer for you and your husband. Is he going to go see the cardiologist? He can't be stubborn about his health. Does his family have a history of heart disease?

OMG! You were so good in treating him right away, though, and glad he eventually went in, even if it was much later. He needs to take it easy; he's way too young for this!
I hope that b/c it was mild, it will cause him to be a little more vigilant from here on out and not hesitate to get care in the future. ((HUGS))) You have to be so scared right now. I'm praying for you and DH.
