Leighton is not doing this yet...why does it worry you?
I worry about everything but wondering if it was because his ears were bothering him.....I think he may have learned it at daycare with all the little girls that I'm sure are shaking their heads no about things! haha
My daughter kind of does this. She doesn't exactly go back and forth though-she goes back and forth but kind of moves her head up to the right, then up to the left, then up to the right. She grins while she does it and does it pretty fast.

My DS has been doing it since he was about 5 months old. He started doing it at random moments, now if anyone shakes their head no or says no-no-no, he does it. When he first started doing it, it seemed as if he testing out the feeling of his clothing rubbing against his chin and then when everyone around him started to laugh at it and do it back to him, it started to be his little "trick". Now he does it all.of.the.time, poor kids ging get a neck cramp, we are trying to teach him to bob his head up and down for yes, but I guess that is just not as exciting !
My DD does it too but we taught her to do bunny kisses. So she does this except she keeps opening her mouth and she will try to bite our noses. It is too funny.

Cole does this back to us if we do it. I'm trying to get him to do it when I day "no no no" but so far he'll only do it if we do it. Even if we nod up and down, he still shakes his head no, and then smiles about it. It's really cute actually.
