Any rec's for a dressmaker in the area?

Hi ladies-

I want to have a christening outfit made out of my wedding dress, but have no idea where to even start looking for a dressmaker in the area. Do any of you have any recommendations?

I live in Westchester but am willing to go pretty much anywhere in the Hudson Valley. I can google, but I would rather have recommendations than just picking one out of the phonebook, ya know?

Well I used to live in Yonkers and used la robe by Leah on Central Ave. I now live up in Dutchess County and LOVE Simply Unique on Rt. 22 in Pawling.

Leah did my wedding dress alterations and she's where I will be taking my wedding dress after we have a baby. A friend of mine did it with hers through Leah as well and its gorgeous.
