What made you move up to the next size?
Even though DS was a chunky 9 pounds at birth, now probably 10 pounds - he has no butt. We have to put them as tight as they can go, just so he doesn't leak. We are still in newborns.
He has never leaked out. That's usually when you go up a size right, when the diaper doesn't fit right to contain everything..
But now he's getting red marks on his legs from the leg holes, so they are obviously too small.
We use pampers swaddlers. Is there another brand anyone has found that has larger leg holes? I've heard Huggies is better for that, but they also have more 'butt' room, which would not work well for us..
So should we move up to size 1, and risk more leaks and blow outs, or stick to newborn for a bit, even though he must be uncomfortable..
Re: Moving up in diaper size
The top of the diaper kept creeping further and further below his belly button and we had more blow outs (not enough space for all the poop). Try buying one size up and see how it goes. If they are too big you can use them later.

This. We moved her up to size 1 a couple weeks ago maybe because the NB were making marks on her little chubby thighs. I thought the 1s were way too big at first, but they haven't leaked at all so I am not worried.
