The water breaking posts. I really want to reach through my computer, slap them in the face, and say "I have no clue if you just pissed yourself or have amniotic fluid running down your leg. Call your effing doctor."
Also, when people biitch about gaining weight and then post about all of the crap they eat. There is a semi-reg that does this all the time and it is comical now. Um, it's not water weight hon - it's cupcakes, Starbucks, Mickey D's, etc.
I have to admit that Alex is terrified of being in the OR for my section. But, he has been educating himself and preparing what he will see, hear, smell so that he can be there.
I only side eye the husbands that put up a fight about attending. Not everyone is OK with medical things - it's not growing a pair and being there for your wife that gets me...
it's stupid. all it does is induce the_shits & misery.
Agree. Have an ounce of patience. Taking castor oil is dumb. Hey, let's sh!t for hours and completely dehydrate ourselves before going into labour(maybe) and be even more uncomfortable! Sounds like a killer plan to me.

LOL I hope that's not me. Although I don't biitch about weight gain and I'm happy with where I'm at so I guess not. But I do go back and forth between talking about my healthy eating habits and workout routine and then post about my pie craving or McD's snack size McFlurries.

You're 100% right and I should have clarified. Anthony was also freaked out about it all. It is the guys who put up the fight that I side-eye.
*People who have been on this board for awhile and were disappointed when all the former 2nd tri-ers showed up, saying this will be their last week on this board because they can't stand 2nd tri-er snarkiness. And then they participate in said snarkiness.
*The new moms coming over here to ask if we have any questions for them.
*The phenomenally uncreative, and therefore boring, MUD and AEs.

But I eat those on the days I work out.
It's not me is it?????
No - it is not you at all.
ha-ha I know who it is!!! And it's not me either....yet.
Ooh the grammar and the text speak drives me batty as well. I definitely side-eye that. It just makes me think you grew up in a trailer park here in buttfcuk CT.
-being disappointed at 37/38 weeks that you've made no progress
-anyone who feels the need to push breast-feeding or cloth diapering, get over it. We will do what feels right.
-those who come back with a 2 week old asking if we have any questions
-husbands who are afraid of L&D
ooh, there are so many more but I'll stop there for now
This used to drive me crazy too...until I got to 37+ weeks and a very small part of me hoped that I'd go into labor early. Now with every twinge I hope it's something heading in that direction. Sigh. It's going to be a loooong two weeks.
omg. sweetie, you'll know when you're having contractions because you won't be sitting on thebump asking a bunch of internet strangers- you'll be asking the Good Lord wtf is trying to climb out of your ass.
I'm totally it! That's ok, I went through about a month of bitching and complaining about others comments. But I've dealt with it now and am good to go for the rest of the pregnancy.
I'm stealing this one from you Wife - those who come back with a 2 week old asking if we have any questions
Also, the "check out my blog! I have giveaways and I'm selling a bunch of used crap" posts. Hock your sh!t elsewhere!
Alter Ego's - I think it's lame to create an AE so you can stir up drama. What a freakin' waste of time. Just grow a pair already and use your regular screen name to say what you're thinking!
Yes! I hate blog giveaways. "All you have to do to win the $10 gift card to whatever is leave 10,000 comments on my blog telling me how much you love me or follow me on Twitter." So irritating.
Women who are willing to try everything and anything to go in to labor. Baby will come when he/she is ready and if not, when it's appropriate, your OB will induce. Yeah it's uncomfortable, it's pregnancy deal with it!
Enjoy the last days/weeks of peace and quiet with your spouse. You made it this far, what's a few more days/week?
-The before and after Belly bandit pictures. I don't know why, but they bug me. I don't think I will be in a race to lose the weight. I think iw ill want to enjoy my new baby first for a bit, maybe?
-The teenagers. Wife, need I say anymore? I am starting to wonder if they are all MUD, because, really?
-Just about everything else you all have listed, too!
omg. sweetie, you'll know when you're having contractions because you won't be sitting on thebump asking a bunch of internet strangers- you'll be asking the Good Lord wtf is trying to climb out of your ass.
1. The ladies who get all biffed off when someone says they've gotten "bigger". You're flipping PREGNANT. Getting bigger is a GOOD thing. Suck it up, buttercup. You won't get smaller until you give birth.
2. Ditto about the moms-of-2-week-olds coming back to say how awesome it is to be a mom and seeing if anyone has questions. I would much more appreciate it if the mom of a 3- month or a 6-month old came back for Q&A.
That's all I've got, but I've been officially in 3rd tri for about 7 hours, so I'm sure more will pop up in the next 10-13 weeks.
Unable to even.

I'm cranky from lack of sleep and even though I'm not 3rd tri. anymore - I have some snark in me and want to play!!!
----- people who have baby(ies) and think that they know how contractions feel for everyone ----- and even think they know how contractions will feel the next time around.
----- people who say without a doubt they are going "natural" (not that I'm one the people who say "yeah right, you'll end up with an epi." It's just that you can't know how L&D will go without a doubt before hand...)
-----people who do get bent out of shape for other's not breastfeeding, but continue to use products that really do put babies at risk, even if it's just a small risk (sleep positioners, bumpers, bundle me's, etc.)
I have more, but all of sudden my brain has become mush......crap.
omg. sweetie, you'll know when you're having contractions because you won't be sitting on thebump asking a bunch of internet strangers- you'll be asking the Good Lord wtf is trying to climb out of your ass.

I feel like the boards are really inconsistent on whether this is annoying or not. I have seen people get FLAMED for coming back to offer to answer questions, and I see why people find it annoying. But it happened twice in like an hour the other day and I saw several regulars on there posting questions for the new moms. Doesn't matter to me either way really...if I don't have a questinos I just don't ask.
True, I notice that as well. I figure that if I do have any questions, I'll just ask the people on here I "know" who are already moms, such as wife.
It really bothers me when someone posts a questions regarding a doctor's visit. Example: The doctor said that I have "such and such", what does this mean, should I be worried??
Why did you not discuss this during your visit? It makes the most sense to get everything cleared up while you are there. If you forgot to ask a question, call back. This bugs me to no end.
omg. sweetie, you'll know when you're having contractions because you won't be sitting on thebump asking a bunch of internet strangers- you'll be asking the Good Lord wtf is trying to climb out of your ass.
Isn't that the freaking truth! Listen ladies, if you have to ask it is probably not a contraction.
I can't stand people that can't think for themselves and don't educated themselves - like people who still think red raspberry leaf tea induces labor, or people that post the majority of the "should I call my doctor" posts.
Mucous plug posts. Hate 'em all - won't read 'em.
And I really don't understand what the big deal is that the group of 2nd tri gals came over to 3rd tri. Maybe some 3rd tri gals got offended at some point and are holding a personal grudge? I don't necessarily agree with everything anyone in the 2nd tri holdover group says, but I certainly don't agree with everything anyone in 3rd tri says, either! We all have opinions, and we're all entitled to them. Don't get me wrong, I don't really understand the whole mass exodus to 3rd tri either, but I don't have to. I only hope it was to help ease the transition (I know it was weird for me to hop over when the time came), and not just to be total twatwaffles. I like 3rd tri, I like the August mamas board, and I like most of the people on those boards. Can't we all just get along?!
Last one isn't a side eye, it's a confession. I love the word twatwaffle.
Welcome to 3rd tri, 2nd tri ladies! May your days not be filled with mucous plug posts.

Yes, this one super baffles me as well! We are not your doctor(nor do we play one on tv). Call your doctor back up and ask him/her when you have a question regarding anything to do with your pregnancy, especially if something wasn't clarified during a visit!
All of the above, plus the stupid idiots who are CLEARLY having a medical issue and refuse to call their doctor or midwife since they have an appointment later this week.
Um, HELLO?! If you can't advocate for yourself, you won't be able to advocate for your kid. Make a stand for yourself, you total fvcking moron.
Also, I like the new mom posts. The more info I can get, the better I feel.
I don't mind them either. I also like the must-have items posts although they're pretty fruitless since every family and baby is different. I still like hearing people's real experiences with stuff.

just don't ask anything too difficult. I may not remember. LOL

Text speak. I can't read half the crap people are trying to type and to be honest it hurts my eyes and head.
This should probably be in an "unpopular opinions" post, but here goes:
When people say they can't afford food for their kids, yet have cell phones, cable tv and newer model cars.
I have to admit that Alex is terrified of being in the OR for my section. But, he has been educating himself and preparing what he will see, hear, smell so that he can be there.

You so beat me to this!!! and expecting a teenager do write it...lmao
I completely agree with the rest as well!

The 1-2 week post partum posts with pictures with women that look like they were never pregnant.
I do see that maybe some Bumpies want to be 'inspired', but that's that person not you. Just because they did it doesn't mean you will too.
I tend to just not open those posts. I'll admit, I'm semi-jealous because I feel like a whale at 9 months pregnant.
Please keep your LOs RF as long as possible

The present IS the baby!

The "should I call my doctor?" posts or there was one a few days ago that asked if she should go to L&D when her doctor told her to do it!
Um, if you have to ask "should I call my doctor?" then do it. If your doctor tells you to go to L&D, go. End of story.
I can't believe I forgot this one...
The "my OB told me to go to L&D but do you think I really need to go" posts. Um, you're kidding right?
