TTC After a Loss

Exhausted from a long day (Not TTCAL related)

DH and I spent the day in NYC with his cousin who is visiting from Germany.  We acted as her tour guide, the best part was Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.  I am Embarrassed ashamed to admit that living one hour north of NYC for the majority of my life, that today was my first time visit either one of this landmarks.  It was a great day, only thought about m/c and TTCAL issues like twice, which is HUGE for me!  How was your day?

Re: Exhausted from a long day (Not TTCAL related)

  • What a fun day! It's great that you were able to have some time away from TTCAL-related things. They seem to creep into every aspect of life sometimes.

On the other hand, you wouldn't get to hang out with us if you never thought about TTCAL. Stick out tongue

  • That's great, glad you had a good time.  We live fairly close to one of the world's top Salt Museums and it took us years to go.  We also live close to the Cosmosphere Space Museum, which is awesome, but we hardly ever go.

  • Awesome you can be my tour guide when I ever make it to NYC to see the land marks. I am only 4 hours away.

  • I love going into the city and doing tourist things. It annoys dh sometimes.

  • Sounds like you had a great day.  I really want to visit those two places.  Both of the times that I have been to the city we did not have enough time to make it out there.
