can you please help me figure out if my theory is correct?
if your LO is crawling, do they go to daycare? and if your LO is not crawling, are you a SAHM? i am just trying to figure out if there really is a correlation between these two scenarios. the thinking behind it is that the LO's that go to daycare are around older babies that are already mobil and they are developing the skill faster to try and catch up.
i suppose it would also make sense that if you are a SAHM with older children that your LO would also be crawling sooner. i am curious to see your answers!

Yes DD is at a daycare and crawling like a little monster! She's also pulling and standing up every chance she gets.
My mom watches DD and she doesn't crawl or scoot yet. She will also fight you with tummy time and lasts about 2 seconds before rolling over.
I am a SAHM and Lilly has been officially crawling since July 15 (I only know the date because we caught it on video
)
She has always been a little advanced as far as the physical stuff though. She could stand and hold her own weight when she was about a month old...
Oh, and she hasn't really ever been around other babies.

Yes, DS goes to daycare, but I also have a 2 and 3 year old. I think your theory is pretty accurate, though. DS1 was an early crawler (I don't remember exactly when) and was walking at 10 1/2 months. When DD came along, she started crawling earlier than DS1 and took her first steps at 9 1/2 months. DS2 has been crawling since 6 months old and I fully expect him to start walking early. He already sees the "big" kids and wants to be where they are, so I know it won't be long until he takes off.
My DH is a SAHD and our DD is scooting around but not fully crawling. I can see in her eyes that she wants too so bad!
I am a SAHM. DS#3 is not crawling yet and he's 6 1/2 mos old.
DS#2 was crawling at 4 months. DS#1 was crawling at 5 months.
Brittyn - In home care ( only baby) crawling @ 8mths
Tagan - In home care ( 4 other kids- ages 9mths - 3yrs) has been crawling since 5.5mths.

DS goes to the baby sitter 3x a week around a 3 yr old and 1.5 yr old. So maybe. The other days he's home w/ DH. He just started crawling this weekend.
My nephew who is 5 days younger than DS is at daycare 5 days a week and he is barely even propping himself up on his hands.
