Awesome success here!

So last week I gave the 3 day PT guide a try.  I did this plan to a TEE for 3 staright days!  I am proud to say that DS hasn't had a poop mess since day 2 morning and even that was half in underwear, held in, finished in potty.  He has told us or someone every time!  As for pee, since Friday he has only leaked 2x and very minimal.  He knows he starts, stops it, and then finishes in potty.  He has woken up 5 mornings bone dry and pee'd once he got up on the potty.

I am so proud of him (and myself I must say :))  I NEVER thought this would be the results, I was hoping for the best and am so proud.  I would highly recommend this program but I will say that I was following it to a tee and feel like a broken record and was exhausted.  We went OOT this weekend and he was with Nana, she read the book as well and we didn't miss a beat.

    Also, wanted to add we were potty training virgins and he had and wouldn't sit on a toilet prior to Wednesday.

    As for rewards: we didn't do anything but a cookie once in a while and extremly crazy amounts of praise.  He did fall in love with an elmo potty training book though and last night when DH and I got home and after he pooped on his own, we gave him a $5 small Elmo doll we bought for him over the weekend.  We said "Elmo came all the way from Mass to tell you how proud he was of you"  Needless to say Elmo hasn't left his side and it was an awesome reward for him.

    awww...it is such a great birthday! I am keeping my hopes up for a Halloween baby this time around, it's only fair :)

    That is awesome!  Thanks for posting this!  I am going through it now and need some support/inspiration!  Man, this is harder than labor! hahaha I do sound like  a broken record and am following the plan to a TEE also!  I figure, why not? right?  We are completing Day 2 on to Day 3 tomorrow.  I have a plan to see my friend's new baby Thursday.... I am not sure if I should cancel on her.  I feel terrible to do so, but DD may need the extra day? She is 18 months.... not sure if it may take an extra day?
