What is your most annoying facebook status update that is kid related.I just had a friend with a 2 month old say

"Gosh between a 13 hour night last night and two, three hours naps today I just can't sleep. Being a mom is way easier than everyone says!"

As I sit down for the first time all day after chasing around an 11 month old I seriously want to give someone the virtual side eye.

I'm not a big fan of the "My 5 month old just said Mama" updates. I'm sorry, but really? Do you think a 5 month old knows what Mama means?

I can't really pick one. Any update that DH's cousin posts is annoying to me. It may be because she decided to announce her pregnancy at my baby shower, but also EVERY update is about her son. I hope I wasn't that annoying when Gabriel was first born.

A good friend of mine, who I love dearly and even feel bad complaining about, just had a baby a few weeks ago. For 42 weeks of pregnancy, all she posted were the happiest, most positive updates over and over. Never a single complaint. Now, since her LO is here, it's been all "this is much easier than than I thought!" and "breastfeeding is so great!" posts... While I'm STILL struggling to adapt with a 9 month old. Like I said, I love her, but it makes me want to kick her and tell her it's fun to vent now and then, being pregnant and then being a mommy is HARD!

that one would deffinatly piss me off.

I had a premie baby so now its anyone who complains how uncomfortable their pregnancy is and how they wish their doctors would just induce them and let them have their baby's. I would have given anything to have gone the full 9 months and been uncomfortable if it meant my baby was completly healthy and fully developed before he made his apperance.

I understand you are uncomfortable but please realize that every minute you get to carry your child means a healthier baby!

And its always said by a woman who isnt anywhere close to 37 weeks!

Most likely people who are posting P&R are either lying and trying to sound like they/their kid are perfect, or out of 2 weeks of their kid waking every hour, they are only posting about the ONE night they STTN :-P

OMG I know! DS has been saying dadadada and mamamama along with other variations, but he says dada when happy about anything. He calls the box of cheerios dada all of the time.

I've noticed this ("My five month old said mama") type posts a lot on the bump. It always makes me LOL to myself.

LOL too funny!! Ya DS only said "mum mum" for a short time...and only when he was pissed. it's "dadadadadada" all the time though.

And he also slept great for all of his 2nd month, hasn't since. I think maybe we're close to double digits in the STTN (the whole night) count.
