I've been texting with Cris. Most recent news is that her 24 hour cultures (blood, urine, spinal fluid) came back normal, but unfortunately little Mari is exhibiting some neurological anomalies including jerky movements, easy startling, and an eye issue. According to the doctors, Mari isn't going anywhere until they figure out what is wrong.

I feel so helpless

Thanks for the update, Rose. I still can't believe this! I wish there was something we could do! Like you, I just feel helpless! I'll continue to keep them all in my thoughts and prayers. Please tell Cris that she has a HUGE support system here if she needs anything!

OMG this is just awful!! And there is nothing we can do, but sit here and wait.....Come on peanut, you can get through whatever this is!!!!!

I wish I could do something to help.

I hope they figure out what is wrong soon! It's breaking my heart to know that she's there in pain & they have no idea why. Poor Cris, this is probably killing her.

Wow, that poor little girl. I too feel so helpless. I sure hope they find out soon what is wrong with her.
