Trimester boards

I have to admit I've been getting tired of the same posts over and over and over on the 1st tri board. Since i'm almost at 2nd i started to lurk ... and they don't seem to happy with the girls moving up. Which i guess i can understand but I don't like the first tri board either.... WE aren't all dumb as they think.

I've mostly stuck to this board, any one els going to 2nd tri soon, or have any feelings on this... I just feel like om not welcome there ...

Is that weird ?

I just moved to 2nd tri today. I agree, 1st tri was getting a little old. Join me in 2nd!! At least we can be "strangers" together! Party!!!

Yeah, I don't understand the "not happy about people moving up" vibe over there. Do they not realize that every day posters graduate from one board to the next? The tri board are supposed to be transient.

the tri boards are generally much to b!itchy for me. I just don't have time for made up drama, ya know? I like our group MUCH better

I skip the tri boards all together. I'd rather stay on a board where the people aren't constantly changing.

I was excited when I moved to the 2nd tri board, but then it seemed like every other post was women who were 20-some weeks complaining about "14-weekers" and blah blah blah. I'm definitely sticking to my month board - while of course still lurking 1st tri and 2nd tri for some good drama.

People with attitudes like that make me laugh. It makes me think "What, so you just went from BFP to 20 weeks?" They also remind me of those women who think that they are so special just because they are PG. Hellooo...you are not the first women to have a baby (and definitely not special on here considering everyone on the board is PG and going through the same thing.)

Any tri board is going to have the same questions asked over and over again because there are so many women coming in and moving on up.

Most of them are finally moving on to the 3rd tri anyways today so now we can make it out own lol.

I feel the exact same way!, Im headed there in less than a week and it scares the poo outta me because I feel like I'm the new girl on the blow! I think I'll just hang here until I'm around 20 weeks, then I'll feel like I fit in better :-)

I like the Feb board much better than the 1st tri board. I feel like I don't fit in because I am a second time mom and my ds is almost 7. I feel old!

I do go over the the 1st board just to see, but it is alot of the same stuff and I've already read it all the first time around. so I do mostly stick to this board or 12-24.

Yup. I don't mind lurking once and a while to learn what's ahead, but I am happy with our board and the ability to get to know each other and all go through it together. Although I'm also fine with some more blunt honesty and a little less bubbles and rainbows -- I'm sure we'll get there as we get past the scary first trimester...
