I had to switch dog food brands very quickly on my poor pup (they changed the ingredients and he wouldn't eat it) so he's had a little bit of an upset tummy because of the switch. I can't fault him for that. But does he have to lay down right below me, and continue to emit toxic gases when I'm already on the verge of throwing up?! I need to carry the air freshener around with me!

Re: Dog Farts
I am a teacher off for summer and I've been babysitting for a family that has a beagle. I was sitting on the couch today with the dog at my feet and I kept getting wiffs of her farts! I actually had to leave the room because my sense of smell is so much stronger now and it was grossing me out.
So far I haven't had that issue with my own dog, but I've noticed that he smells more "doggy" than usual. Ick.
Ugh! The hightened smell is awful!
I work at an Animal Hospital, and obviously I am around farting dogs, and poop!
I walked by a dog that had just pooped himself and had to run to the bathroom! I ended up getting sick, which is sooo new to me, because I usually have such a strong stomach!
Oh no! You poor thing! That's awful. :-(
My dog was so flatulent for the first 6 months or so. Every once in a while she still lets one rip, and it's just horrible.
Thankfully, she seems to have grown out of it.
