Letter to day care

I've got to write a letter to notify the day care of E's last day and I hate doing it!  It feels the same way as writing a resignation letter.  No matter how much I dislike certain things about the daycare (or job) and know the new place will be much better, it still makes me uncomfortable.  :-/  Maybe I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings... I don't know.  I know it's no big deal and it's life to move on.  The director is so nice and I think she'll be sad to see him go.  Has anyone else done this before?

I'm pulling my big girl britches up and finishing the letter now.

    The current place was our 2nd choice and we recently got into our 1st choice.  There have been a few things happen at the current place that I'm not happy about, which I feel (and hope) the new place will do a much better job with.

    We are having to do the SAME thing now--I HATE it for the same reasons you do. Especially b/c ours is more of a financial decision:( However, I know the knew place will be just as good b/c several of our friends use the same one.
